I have some chiero roxa. Probably 10 to 20 pods. If you look at my grow list or glog have over 100 other varieties you could choose from to finish filling a sfrb.

I picked one for a guy at work to try tomorrow. My biggest issue with them is telling when they are ripe. There is very little to no color change on them. I have two plants full of pods.

have u tried them yet?.....are they as good as people have told me?
awesome looking pod btw!

I have, but I really do not like raw pods although I try all of what I grow. I have a hard time distinguishing the different flavors with different peppers. Once the get too hot, all I taste is heat.

Ok I just ate that pod. The heat hits me mostly in my tongue and mouth and the flavor is pretty ok. I would certainly look for a Nigel review if he has done one on the PDN.

Just let me know if you want and we can figure something out.

I not the biggest fan of raw pods either when u get into the super hots, I think its just that caps taste that gets me.........I do cook with them all the time thou which changes the flavors extremely! But yes i'm very interested in those pods so lets work something out :)

Try a Red Fatalii "Not". It's pretty hot, but tastes great! I believe Wicked Mike has them on his list.

Might have to try those too!

I do have 'em, and they're excellent. Got them from SL3, and glad I grew them out.

They can be a little tricky. That one you pictured looks perfect.

Aji Fantasy Yellow and Aji Fantasy White are insanely good pods with almost no heat whatsoever. I was talking with Chris about them a while back and his verdict was, "yeah, Jukka really hit a homerun." Some of my other favorites for flavor would have to be Dong Xuan Viet Market, Jamy, Inca Red Drop, Aji Golden, Aji Amarillo, Malawi Piquante, Rainforest, Aji Panca, PI 199506, CGN 21500...I'm sure there are a few that I'm forgetting.

Three you might want to look at are the MoA Scotch Bonnet, SB7J and CARDI Yellow Scorpion. I find all 3 to be quite tasty. Although that Scorpion does pack some real heat, the CARDI version is not considered a superhot.

Also +1 on the Aji Fantasy. It's a really sweet and tasty mild pepper.
