wanted WTB

Looking to buy some Thai chili pepper seeds. I want the seeds for the very small Thai pepper. Also wouldn't mind buying a few lemon drop , chocolate habanero , or chipotle Jalapenos.

There is no such thing as Chipotle pepper seeds. A chipotle pepper is a smoked Jalapeno. I suggest going to pepperlover.com for your seeds. She doesn't charge for shipping, has very good pricing and is highly recommended.

While I completely agree with you, Pepper Joe seems to think differently and is advertising chipotle peppers this year.

This is where I saw them at. I knew what chipotle was but this new jalapeno that is suppose to have a Smokey flavor intrigued me

I thought it was interesting too, but more than a little misleading to use a name of an existing pepper for some new hybrid you created. I would have been cool with "Pepper Joe's whiz bang smoky 'peno" or whatever else he came up with, but a chipotle, it is not.

I do not see any of the little Thai peppers on her site. If she carries them and I just am missing them let me know.

A grocery store—especially one serving Asian and/or Hispanic folks—would be another source for jalapeño and Thai seeds, plus other varieties.  (The pods are a nice, immediate bonus.)  Seeds from even dried pods can be viable.

I didn't even think about buying local pods and getting the seeds from them. I know I can get fresh jalapeno as we have Mexican supermarkets. We do have an Oriental market in a neighboring city, I have only been once. Its a very interesting place for many reasons. I will call them later to see if they sell fresh pods.

Product Description

(Capsicum annuum) 20 seeds per pack. Confusingly named, as 'chipotle' can refer to any smoked pepper, but this is a variety of its own, bearing several inch peppers with similar characteristics to the Ancho and Serrano. Flavor is medium hot, with smoky overtones and excellent for use as a seasoning.
Huh?

PJ probably eats green jalapeno too. who eats green jalapeno? its like eating green tomato!

I have some mucho nacho jalapeno , and japones , and hatch if you are interested. I think the japones taste better than the thai hots

I have a plant with very small Thai hot peppers.

Peppers are roughly 1/2" long and pretty hot.

I have Aji pineapple seeds, which I prefer over Aji lemon drop for flavor. I have Aji lemon drop as well. I don`t have Chocolate Habs, but I do have lots of other Chocolate varieties. As stated above, Chipotles are smoked, ripe Jalapeños. I have a few seeds for huge Jalapeños - Jal-Max. Probably 3 times the size of normal Jals.

I have several pounds of dried thai chilies if you are interested. I can mail them to you if you like. PM me for more info. The seeds are viable.
