frutescens Xiao Mi La?

Has anyone grown these recently? The Chile Pepper Institute calls them a semi-wild frutescens from China, and I found a couple of posts from @smokemaster back in 2014, but I can't find a lot more information online. Mostly just curious how they are to grow and use. I think I found a source, and may just need to find out for myself. :)

Edit to add: Got curious about these after reading through the thread about the Er Jing Tao peppers.
