Y.A.H.I.T (yet another help identifying thread)

Hi All,

A friend of mine bought a couple of chile plants at a market a while ago, but none were labled.

Can anyone help identifying these?

The fruits are about 4 inches long.

I thought this one was a Jalapeno, however it is not at all tapered.

Thanks in advance,

second pick looks like a Jalapeno (there are a few varieties) but without a size reference it could also be a young Serrano.....first pic could be a million kinds of cross...you'll have to wait for it to turn red, then eat it & give a heat rating to narrow it down

I agree with bent 100%, the 2nd could very well be a Jalapeno. Mine aren't corking at all yet, so that isn't an indication for or against it!

As he said, the first one could be nearly anything. It's almost always hard to tell when the pods aren't ripe. They look good though!

Tam Jlapeno maybe and the other could be anything..kind looks like one of my Pimento De Padron..but who no`s ;)
