Yellowing and shriveling of peppers

The peppers in the image are growing a lot, but none of them are really making it to ripening. They all end up shriveling and getting soft/rubbery feeling and eventually fall off. I also noticed their step grows in girth(not seen well in image) in an abnormal way. I'm fairly new to pepper growing so maybe it's a nutrient issue. I don't see any critters or bugs around.

Some turn purple colored but that doesn't seem to be much of a problem.
But you can see in the background of this picture how bad the issue is.

I'll be looking through guides on the forum in the meantime.

Are they watered enough? If they have enough water, it is lacking calcium. Good luck with them.

Definitely on a good water regime even with the heat wave. I'll check on calcium
Thanks!

Overwatering is the number one cause for yellow leaves. As for the shriveling of the leaves is caused by alot of heat and sun and also lack of calcium like jacrispy said. I recommend you increase calcium and set your plants in the sun every now and then. Usually the leaves that are already curled will stay like that but the new leaves will not curl.
