Row2: NotLimo NotBlanco, 1st NotLocato Flower, 1st NotLocato Flower
Row3: 1st 2 NotLocato Fruits Set, Habanero, 1st NotLocato Pod

I'll post the rest of the photos after somebody else replies or in a day or so if time frame for post merging expires.

The NotLocato plants pictured above are bucking the Capsicum Pubescens trend and out performing plants belonging to other species of Capsicum.

Somehow I missed your thread, harry!

Haven't had a proper chance to look through all your photos yet but from what I've seen already, everything's looking great! :onfire:

Very professional looking thread too... the way you got your thumbnails all clustered together and stuff.
Thanks Gassy.

I harvested my first full size Datil pod, the second pod set, yesterday.

It didn't seem as hot as the runt of a first Datil pod I ate before. The aroma had a citrus hint to it. I'll need to eat more to get a handle on how they taste.

Looking good bro. As gas said very professional looking thread. Nice work on the pods as well

Thanks Trippa. The plants look a bit worse for wear after a couple of 40 °C days. Tomorrow isn't forecast to be all that mild either.

I brought the biggest NotWhite NotBhut, Scotch Bonnet TFM and Beni Highlands plants inside yesterday. The NotWhite NotBhut plant and Scotch Bonnet TFM plant both have some tentative fruits. My first Beni Highlands flower opened yesterday during the scotching hot day.

Updated on 21 Oct 2013 to prefix the Not.

The hot weather has spurred on development of the pods that were past the tentative stage.

Row1: Biquinho, NotWhite NotBhut (1st Pod), Scotch Bonnet TFM (1st Pod)
Row2: Trinidad Scorpion #3 (One of 1st 4 Pods), Aji Amarillo (Blooming), Aji Cristal #2 (1st Pod)
Row3: Ebony Fires (Blooming), NotHabanero Peach (1st Pod), Seven Not (1st Pod)

The sole Biquinho plant is doing well after being rescued from a pot that was reused for a Rocoto transplant. It wasn't much to look at when I transplanted it into its 10 mm pot.

My first NotWhite NotBhut plant has a couple of small pods. I noticed the first plant has a tendency to produce Anthocyanin whereas the second plant does not. The first plant handled the heat better than the second plant.

My first Scotch Bonnet TFM plant retained its first pod through the heat wave. Some of the flowers on the plant opened in the oddest orientations I have seen on my plants.

My third out of three

Trinidad Scorpion plants is producing immature pods that are pale green rather than green as the first two. The pods on this plant are bumper than the other plants. This puts the nail in the coffin of the authenticity of my Trinidad Scorpion source.

I squeezed in my tall Aji Amarillo start into a photo. The diameter of the pot is 20 cm. The parent plants grew into monsters.

The first pod on my second Aji Cristal plant has an odd shape. The pod is fat and bumpy compared to the slender pods of the first plant.

The Ebony Fire plants sowed into the garden beat those sowed into a 10 mm pot to bloom. The short plant at the front left of the photo has produced its first pod.

My first NotHabanero Peach plant retained its first pod through the heat wave. The photo shows the thinner side of the pod. The NotHabanero Peach plants handled the heat well.

I'm still waiting for the yellow Seven Not pod to ripen. It began to ripen two weeks ago. The pods on this plant are huge. I may need to harvest it before it turns completely yellow as grubs are destroying other pods on the plant.

I hate :censored: cutworms! I woke up to find a cutworm had demolished a whole side of my Scotch Bonnet TFM plant. This side happened to include first pod that is no more now.

Cloning plants that turn into monsters seems to be a way to end up with a more compact plant. I started the Goat's Weed clone the morning I found one of my plants had been damaged by a cutworm. The over wintered plants remain the leaders in terms of pod numbers.

I harvested a dozen Fatalii pods to use in a sauce.

Fatalii Harvest

My Mango Fatalii sauce ingredients:
  • 150 g Mango
  • 50 g Fatalii
  • 2 Garlic Cloves
  • 1/4 tsp Citric Acid powder
  • 1/2 cup Water (distilled)
The whole blend ended up being a bit over 300 mL. This was the first time I used citric acid instead of vinegar. I'm not sure if I used enough citric acid.

Looking good as always harry . Still waiting on my goats weed to really take off . How long did the pods take to ripen on yours??

The plant began to bloom on 28 November 2011 but dropped the first flower meaning the next two pods took less than 53 days to ripen.

The first Limón fruit to began to ripen an impressive 48 days after the flower opened.

Lookin good, I love datils for a sauce, They were and are a big thing with the Minorocan Indians around St. Augustine, they have been growing them forever.

I made this one before and it is just awsome... Good luck.

I've been eating my Datil pods fresh with meals. My plant hasn't produced a heavy enough yield for my thoughts to turn to making sauce.

Do you know of any good photos of whole plants that show the detail of the foliage?

Row1: Aji Cristal No2 (Ugly Pod), First Limón Pod, Limón Pod Halves
Row2: Manzana Yellow (2nd Pod), Limón (Low Light), First Goat's Weed Pod
Row3: Goat's Weed and Rocoto Orange, Manzana Yellow and Rocoto Orange, NotLimo NotBlanco (1st Pods)

I noticed the Cristal pod was developing some colour and decided to eat one before it turned red. It had a more mellow flavour than the other Baccatum varieties I have tried.

The two Limón pods I've eaten have lived up to its name. Both Limón pods had a good lemon-citrus flavour. The flavour makes up for the lower heat than I expected. Throw in the fact that the plants have set pods through the heat wave and we have a winner.

That goats weed is very cool. I need to look into those.
I ate my first Goat's Weed pod with dinner. There was a little sweetness a little Annuum flavour. The pod packed some heat and produced a decent tongue burn.

I haven't tried the NotLimo NotBlanco Not pods yet. The plant has many Annuum traits that lead me to expect the pods will have some of the Annuum flavour imparted on them.

My NotScarlet NotLantern that had Annuum traits produced pods that was a mix of the Chinense and Annuum flavour.

I took a photo of the crop on the NotLimo NotBlanco to illustrate its productivity. There's 13 pods on a plant that is currently in a 20 cm / 4.5 L pot:
