Leaves falling Off?

I had a couple plants that looked like that. I'm fairly sure it was at least related if not outright caused by heat - I ahd the most problems when we had that heat wave a month or so ago where it was 110-ish each day. Also quiet possible the heat and watering caused root issues...I did a few autopsies on plants I lost and the roots were brown and very dry. I guessed I may have just cooked the roots.

Good stuff here. I have two plants doing this. My douglah first started doing this in the middle of flowering, slowly dying off. I got a decent amount of pods but could have had plenty more. the other is my chocolate Habanero. It has produced 2-3 solid harvests of pods, but the last few days significant leaf drop has been happening. Likely a signal of seasons changing, but I live on the coast. Sounds like a trim and repotting will go a long way for them and should last through the winter.
