    Fruity/tropical like a habanero but substantially hotter. I am new to this but I always thought peppers get hotter as they ripen. If not, but is probably a hybrid scotch bonnet. If they do get hotter probably some cross breed. Flavor is outstanding though. Do they get hotter?

    I cut one of the peppers that did not have the tail look. I bisected it.  I used all the precautions in the unripe state with gloves.  Cutting this thing in half made my face sweat.  The smell was fruity but the heat!  I can only imagine how hot this thing is going to be when ripe.  I have a...

    Hi All,   This was supposed to be a scotch bonnet. I grew thai chili, habaneros, cayenne, ghost, and several others including a scotch bonnet last year. I believe this pepper was mislabeled and I wonder what it is? Can you help ID it?  The scotch bonnet I grew last year was not bumpy like this...

    Hi All

    New member from GA.  I have a small garden box and half of it is peppers(to my wife's dismay).  I am only on my 2nd year gardening and have not expanded to the depths you all have.  I look forward to learning here.   Thanks!
