  Unfortunately this is my first season trying the method!

This is the only isolation method I've used, and had fairly good success. I'd say about 25% of the pollinated/sealed flowers dropped, but most would fruit for me.

Save us some seeds! I wonder if it will be passed on to the next generation? Even if it's undesirable, still a neat novelty trait.

  Things in my first grow are going well! I finally transferred all my plants outdoors, and they are loving the sun!   I will have open-pollinated seeds for Prik Chi Faa, Mulato, Black Pearl, Aji Limon, and Carolina Reaper ... only ones that are not doing well are the Datils. Lots of small pods...

Here she is now! Doing well, despite cool overnight temps starting already  :confused:   I'm noticing lots of variation in pod shape. I hear this is typical, especially in the first round of pods?

Definitely looks like a deficiency, but seems a little early for that, no? Is your soil holding moisture very well? pH ok?   Not really sure what to tell you, but here's my plant that had a calcium problem when I first started. Looks similar
