Regular steak would be a stretch for me. I've been dry aging steaks for a few years, and just eat them reversed seared with salt and pepper.. Tacos, oh yea, this may be a different taste! Now ya got me jonsing for ice cream!
Decided to hold onto summer for as long as possible, so made a pina colada hot sauce.
18 Orange Habs
1 Diced Pineapple
1/2 a cup sweetened coconut flakes
2 tbsp Cream of Coconut
3/4 cup distilled white vinegar
The taste is awesome. Will go great on coconut shrimp!
Yea as a snack. I roast them on the grill until blistered, then put in a bowl and drizzle with olive oil and top with onion powder and garlic powder. Sometimes I use garlic salt instead of garlic powder. They really taste great!
So we had a bbq today and had a bottle of the sauce. It was very good, but very thick... I also made a pumpkin sauce from a recipient on this site, and that was very thick as well.
Do I need to add more vinegar to thin the sauce out? I figured the pumpkin sauce was meant to be thick, but...
Home made sauce, dough, and store bough cheese mix. Added some Yellow Bird Serano Sauce on top! Tomatoes on half, and Shallots on the entire pie! Would have put it on the KettlePizza, but it's raining...
Looks Great!!! We have a 150 gallon tank with now only Black Mollies. They had babies, and babies, and babies. Now I have to find homes for like 50 babies to get the tank back to what I wanted.
The taste of this after a day is really good. Again, not heat due to the peppers used, but it replicated the flavor I was looking for. I have 3 jars of fermenting peppers going now. I'll hopefully make them into sauce in the next few weeks!
