My containers all have drainage holes around the perimeter on the bottom.   I still may not be understanding. I have not seen the effect described, and my containers are emptied each year. I could be wrong but I think PWT is a fancy way of saying the growing medium is waterlogged. I don't know...

You hear a lot about over-watering peppers. I am using a lawn sprinkler (this is an unchangeable variable) on hot pepper plants in the soil. I was planning to run it 15 minutes daily, very early morning, but a friend has talked me into running it only every 48 hours. Opinions?
