Just wondering how the Red Dominica compares to these. Just starting to get ripe ones over the last few weeks but I froze what I harvested. Haven't even tasted them yet

It's hot, but not a superhot. It tastes sweeter than other habaneros I've tried. It also leaves a very lingering mild to slightly moderate burn on the tongue for a very long time. It also had very few seeds inside (maybe 7 tops.) and very little placenta.

Thanks everyone. Yes, I guess crossing could be a possibility. Still, a mislabel remains possible as well. If so, the pointy tail makes me think of some type of Scorpion...I'm yet to try it (maybe tomorrow), I can handle habs so if it's a super hot, I guess I'll find out.
