Erosion on the stems at ground level?

Ok, so I went ahead and drained the nutes from the two and rinsed them with 3% peroxide solution and in a couple of days we will see about feeding them or just watering them and see what happens. In the mean time am going to soak a few chocolate bhutlah seeds and start those just in case

Erosion on the stems at ground level?

This plants stem looks like this And this one's Like this So what do you think? Could it be because I have them in perlite only and the stuff is pretty coarse so when the fan is on them the constant movement of the stem has worn away at the soil level?

Erosion on the stems at ground level?

Thanks guys...I have been watering in the bottom cup since I have gotten them in the double cups with perlite as well as keeping them under a fan at least 4-5hrs a day...I will try the peroxide and see how it goes and hold off on potting up yet...Also still going to get pictures up when I get...

    New growth curled up

If the pH is correct then I would not assume calcium deficiency, there is no sign of tissue necrosis in the affected foliage, nor are there any indications of symptoms on the blossom ends that are visible in the picture. Leaf curling has been documented in the forums numerous times and almost...

I don't get that either, wouldn't that indicate a magnesium or sulfur deficiency?

Erosion on the stems at ground level?

I have Carolina Reapers in double cups and am getting ready to plant up to buckets and move outside but noticed that the stems on my two biggest plants seem to have eroded away at the level of the perlite in my cups. Just wondering if anyone else has any experience with this and what I can do...

    New growth curled up

I would stop the nutes on the next watering and just give it plain water

    crinkled and cupped first leaves.

Have you tried going to a 18/6 light cycle? Just a newb question but it seems that if it is light stress that is causing the issue that the plants need a recovery period every day. I have read this and been told the same here on the forums as well and if you think about it, it kinda makes since...

    Here's my setup...

Using flora series nutes in perlite seems to be going good with this light: I got it off of Amazon pretty reasonable.... Another plant pic they seem to be doing really well These two are the first sprouts that popped and have been larger than the rest ever since Any ideas on improvements? I...

    leaves turning black?

Stupid question...does it rub off of the leaves...if not then most likely not a mold...I have my plants under a 4-bulb HO T5 and the first sets of true leaves did the same thing but all the rest are fine and the plants have doubled in size since going to the T5 with all the leaves green as can...
