    well I spend most of my time at work so I can actually care for them there. I have no place right now I could plant them outdoors so I think for a while these will remain indoor peppers...

    yeah I think that was my first mistake, I had a fan at them when they were seedlings and it was a bit on the stiff side...

    I didn't think they were too shallow, but when I re-pot I'm going to bury thm pretty deep I think... damping off is definitely a possibility and its something I need to address...guess I need to pick up some anti-fungal.

    ok thats what I figured...I have moved them all closer, I guess we will see what happens. Hopefully at some point they will be able to support themselves again. thanks!

    Hello all, this will be my second year of growing peppers indoors (at work :) ) and this year I am running into a major problem - almost all of the peppers I have started have ridiculously thin stalks near the root area...they can't even hold themselves up. Its quite obvious that the stalk...

    wow great thanks! Another question...the plants pretty much see 24x7 light since they are in the office, otherwise I would have to kill the light when I leave which means they would probably only see any decent light for 9 hours a day...should I just leave the light on? im thinking about...

    nt totally true...grafting to a root system that isn't as strong as the parent can cause small or sparse fruit production...this tends to happen a lot when you graft fruit trees and such to make a "dwarf" type of tree.

    everyone at work thinks i'm nuts :) I'm just dying to see something come up though...I swear I check them about every 10 minutes! They will thank me when I come in one day with some homeade hotsauce :D

    these are likely going to be indoor plants, they will never see the ground outside. Currently i'm growing them on my desk at work actually :)
