    ChiliNoobs first glog [2014]

My little Cayenne is just three months old, and already flowering. I took a chance and pruned, to hopefully see a bigger yield in summertime. Think it's normal for happy plants to produce pods too early into the season. From the reading I did here, I think it's better to wait them out for better...

    Moshun's 2014 - noob grow - Hab & Cayenne - 15W E27 LED

Guys, quick question. I've got these two Cayenne's growing. They're about three months old and are showing a lot of nodes. The smaller one is putting more effort in making the nodes grow, while the bigger one is already splitting at the top, and showing signs of producing a couple flowers. Any...

    Moshun's 2014 - noob grow - Hab & Cayenne - 15W E27 LED

Thanks Miguelovic! Yeap, i'm keeping some under the light at my appartment. The colour is indeed a bit weird in the beginning but you get used to it pretty fast. All seem to have survived the transplants pretty well, and the weather has been great this winter, so I might be putting some outside...

    Moshun's 2014 - noob grow - Hab & Cayenne - 15W E27 LED

Hi guys,   Back with an update after repotting our habaneros last week. Weather's been fantastic in Belgium so all well with the growth. Bit afraid my pots (wich we got free from a nearby gardening center) are a bit too small to take the plants all the way. We'll see.

Any idea yet on when you're repotting to bigger size? I'm going at it tomorrow. Perfect weather (21C), and the plants are just begging for it. I got just normal all purpose potting mix. Anything you can suggest I add to the mix?

    Moshun's 2014 - noob grow - Hab & Cayenne - 15W E27 LED

Yeap, totally satisfied with it's performance. I bought this one for around 50€ + 50€ for the housing. Big plus is these lights don't need cooling, as do the normal growlights. Also power usage is much lower. Specs:   Complete support lifecycle: Growing and flowering stage   Contrast ratio...

    Moshun's 2014 - noob grow - Hab & Cayenne - 15W E27 LED

Thanks Bricklayer! Yeah, I had to work it out with my parents so they keep the bulk of the plants at their house :) I'm going to transplant them in used pots, that I got free from a garden center. You think there is any risk of disease/pathogens/mold in using second hand pots?   Thanks again.

    Moshun's 2014 - noob grow - Hab & Cayenne - 15W E27 LED

Hi guys,   First time grower and chili enthousiast.  This website/ forum already helped me out a lot, so I wanted to post some pictures of our setup.. Me and my, I must say, very willing girlfriend live in a small city apartment, so not much room to work with. On our last trip to Costa Rica we...
