lighting Growing under T5 LED lights

The T5 LED tubes are rated at 50,000 hours. I am not aware of any specific warranty. If a tube burns out, Just replace that one tube and continue as before. If one tube stopped working, the other tubes in the fixture will continue working. It works like a florescent light fixture, just replace...

issue Indoor grow - is this the cause of too much light?

Most of my leaf problems have been from over watering, the plant roots cannot get the oxygen the plant needs and the leaves start dying off. This happened to my tomato plant, I put the plant outside and the plant recovered pretty nicely. The sun really helped the plant and now that cold weather...

lighting T5 54W High Output Light Setup for Grow Tent

Here's what I would recommend and use in my grow racks.  I have 24" T5 fixtures, I replaced the florescent tubes with T5 LEDs. I took the fixture into a local grow supply place and they tested the fixture with their meter. The fixture was a 4 tube fixture with 2 red and 2 blue T5 LED lights...

    Hi from Maine, USA

Thanks for the info, I have limited income, so won't be going to that one, but am planning a trip to Salem Witch Village later on in the month.

    Hi from Maine, USA

At the time I didn't know where I could get seed/clones/plants, I think I now have someone who can help, but going into winter, probably it is best to wait until spring. I was uncomfortable on ordering through the mail. I can't afford to endanger my place, just in case Sessions decides to make...

    Hi from Maine, USA

It's a nice thought, but retail sales are not being allowed until on or after February 2018. The old rules still apply, find someone with a medical card to give you seeds/clones/plants or buy from the black market. The Maine Legislature is struggling with how much sales tax to charge, right now...

lighting Growing under T5 LED lights

Maine is a legal recreational marijuana state, so is Massachusetts, we are the only ones on the east coast that are recreational legal. Retails are not set up yet for either state, retail should start during or after February 2018. So how can anyone obtain any weed in any form if sales are not...

lighting Growing under T5 LED lights

More info, I took my 24" x 4 T5 LED tube fixture to the local store. I had 2 red and 2 blue LED tubes installed in the fixture, the par reading was around 400. I replaced the 2 blue LED tubes with 2 full spectrum LEDs and the reading went very close to 600. I feel that would be good for growing...

lighting Growing under T5 LED lights

Thanks for the info, I have recently added full spectrum T5 LEDs to my T5 fixture. The one pepper plant that had been outside had large leaves though a bit smaller than the plants under the T5 LED lights. The leaves were not as dark colored as the ones grown under the LEDs. Blue light tends to...

lighting Growing under T5 LED lights

I am growing under T5 LED lights. I am using full spectrum and red LEDs. The leaves have become very large, I suspect the light is not intense enough, but the plants seem to be doing ok. The pepper plant on the left front just came in from the outside. The other 2 peppers have been grown under...

    Hi from Maine, USA

I am a retired fellow living in Maine. I grow peppers and other stuff under T5 LED lights. I also grow peppers outside during the summer months. I am primarily a container grower. What else you want to know, just ask.
