I'm glad to see that the manzano survived the transition to soil and is still producing. If my memory is correct it means that plant is going on six years old now. Who would of thought that a pepper plant could live that long.

Hey Rich, I sure would like to get some seeds from those Giant Rocoto when you get a chance. I need to start a new plant in the basement.

Nice !!! I always loved the flavor of these peppers. It was a treat being able to have fresh pods during the winter as well.
The original seeds came from a fellow member here. I believe he bought the peppers at a market near his home in Poway Ca.
