Are you growing a pumpkin?   I took mine to the pumpkin festival in april, but I had some rot that made it through to the middle, so I was disqualified.  They weighed it anyway and it was the biggest pumpkin on the day. 311kg/684lb. Coming along very well!  Slowly now only, about 3kg/6.6lb a day. Measuring at 278kg/611.6lbs

na no scale, through measurements.  In the USA they have been growing these pumpkins for a long time and have figured out a formula to work out the weight from 3 different measurments.

Massive leaves on this one I've lost most of my backyard to the vine   I've got one pollinated, its 10 days after pollination.  Its starting to move now, been slow so far but its picking up the pace.

I'm well and truly on my way this season! No pumpkin so far but the vine is going crazy!  I've got 3 hydroponic channels this year for secondary roots.  Its go time!

So long as you have enough for next year they would be good eating!  I got over 200 out of my 192kg pumpkin

maybe!  I know how hard it is to cut off pumpkins though, I never want to put all my eggs in one basket! I guess the key is to grow more than one vine!

once its on a leaf its hard to get rid of.  You pretty much have to treat preventatively.  I've used milk diluted in water and that works, but you have to spray often, and you need to get the top and bottom of the leaf.  If you aren't planning on eating the pumpkins there is a systemic anti...

Sorry but I wont be any help to you with giant cabbages! I still havn't grown one bigger than what you can buy in the shops!  One way or another I keep failing.   I CAN tell you though that they like alot of nutrients.  I can go 1/3 stronger in nutrients than my pumpkins.
