    Got my plants from chileplants.com

As always, they look fantastic.  This is the 4th or 5th year I've purchased from them.  Great variety to choose from.  I live in North Carolina so I'll be putting these out soon in fabric pots, last year I got a really good crop from 12 plants.  Anyone else use these folks for their pepper...

    hydroponic Hydroponic Issue Need Help

I didn't cheat, I filled it up to the very top and then put the nutes in one at a time and used the airstone to help mix the solution, then grow, then bloom.  The root had a right angle which is why I decided to put in so much solution, I wanted the roots to be touching the solution/air mix...

hydroponic DIY guide: how to make off grid hydroponic self watering container

hydroponic DIY guide: how to make off grid hydroponic self watering container

I can't answer from experience but if the solo cups reach the bottom of the container with the edges of the cup cut off, and or holes in the bottom of the cups, that would allow for maximum wicking of the solution into the dirt.  I would also imagine that once the roots reach down through the...

hydroponic DIY guide: how to make off grid hydroponic self watering container

It is a gorgeous view! I also got my masterblend/calcium/mag in the mail, can't wait to start using it. You ever get the urge to climb those mountains back there?

hydroponic DIY guide: how to make off grid hydroponic self watering container

Looks like Hydro-gardens has it for $51.50 for the 25 lb tomato formula, as opposed to 25lb Masterblend for $40 + $12 in shipping, guess it depends on whether or not hydro-gardens ships for free which I doubt.

I can get the Calcium and Epsom, just need the Masterblend.  Am I better off getting it directly from them so you don't have to worry about the hassle?
