yeah that's what made me question it, all of those peppers are from the same plant. maybe that last one just grew out smooth for some reason.

This plant was labeled as Ghost Peppers. I assume they're some unstable cross. Anyone wanna take a guess as to what they most closely resemble?   these are all pics from one single plant   Thank You!            

kinda strange. there is a lot of variation in the peppers. maybe the guy i got them from was growing them to sell seeds and had a little cross-pollination?

does overwatering cause splits like that? we recently had record heat and the plants wilted a little once or twice for a short amount of time... i thought i started noticing it right around then.

honestly i've only eaten small pieces and they seem pretty hot, a good 5 minutes of burn eating a piece the size of a dime. but not anything like the youtube guys who eat a pepper and go into convulsions :D soon i'll just crunch into a whole one and see how hot it really is
