They aren't a favorite, but I enjoy a few songs and they are one of those bands that doesn't tour very often, so we are jumping at the opportunity. Plus, you can't beat $12 for concert tickets. Even local bands are usually more.

12$? Wow. I thought I was lucky to get 27 dollars to see Amon Amarth and Sabaton in October.

Why can't we edit status? Why you like black and doom metal?

Black, a little, doom, oh yeah. As far as doom is concerned, I love Daylight Dies. I am particularly fond of metal from northern Europe. Sweden, Finland, etc have some of the best music. Opeth (pre-Watershed) is my favorite. But I my tastes are varied. Anything complex, emotional or with a lot of thought put into the music.

For me at least, black metal tends to get a bit far into it to be enjoyable. Not to heavy, it just gets to much bad press. Melodic death and powermetal fit the categories you mentioned though.
