been there, done that. That's the best use for an air popper anyway, to roast coffee. I do my popcorn in oil on the stove. Havent roasted beans in a while, but sweet maries is still there....

Lol. I've been on a stovetop popcorn kick for the last three months. The aluminum foil lid is what gives it all the flavor!
Just need to try roasting coffee, still.
