same here , pops always said as he got older , that the ground gets further away , i always laughed , now that i'm older i see exactly what he meant ! tough to get up from a whole gardens worth of weeding

the problem is, I walk back over an area and I swear I couldn't have missed what is now growing there. If only my pepper plants would grow like that.

Me too. One of the reasons I use mulch.

+1 for mulch. It's sooooo much easier to throw some mulch on the ground than it is to pull weeds out of it.

I have been thinking about that. Wont be growing so many plants next year. might be more manageable.

i use pine needles , dry grass clippings , oak leaves . all work great and break down to replenish the garden
