Well yeah - and it's metal. Big diff. I am referring to how heavy eggshells are when compacted together compared to how light they seem when you break one open. Never gave it any thought until now. Makes me think that maybe it's not really such a good idea to put them down the disposal, after all. Maybe - depending on how old your pipes are. But then, we don't usually put the shells of 50+ in all at once.
