I feel for you, it happened to me last year, and last winter one of my avocado trees and two mango trees were put out because they were in the way! It was -7 Celsius...

Damn, that sucks when people "help"!!! Last season after losing most of my plants to possums, I moved my remaining plants to an alternate location where someone thought they would "help" by keeping the soil wet at all times (after I instructed otherwise). Hmmm, I wonder why they all turned yellow and died......
