Family friendly sci fi: John Carter, Dark Crystal, Secrets of Nihm, Time Bandits, Legend, Neverending Story, The Black Hole. Not so family freindly: Bladerunner, Mad Max, Event Horizon, In the Mouth of Madness, Jacob's Ladder, Lawnmower Man....
