I decided to grow the white fatalli this year with seeds from hippie seed company, and some of the pods just ripened. Mine never turned to a yellowish color, they started green and just lightened till they got to the off white color.
I'm pretty sure the holes in the plant are from when I had a horrid aphid infestation a month ago. I over watered them when they were sproutlings and the soil was perfect for aphids to take hold there. Haven't noticed the flies since a spider took up living over the plants. Anyways I'll pay more...
Thanks, was hoping it wasn't snails, they killed my last years grow by eating all the leaves. What do you think is the best way to get rid of them. Tried a lot of ways last year but there was too many.
I noticed the stem of the peppers on my reaper and white fatalli have been drying out and shrinking. Today when I went out to take pictures it has spread to the top of the main stem of my purple ufo. I used to have a terrible aphid infestation but I got it under control a month ago. Is it a...
Any of you have problems with snails. They pretty much just killed of my watermelon plant. I wake up and I got at least 10 snails chewing on my plants.
I'm in Merritt island James, for my fertilizer I use fox farms and I'm happy with it be it a bit more expensive. I grew for a bit in 5 gallon pots and around 3-4 1 inch holes should do it if there aren't already holes. Just moved some to the ground. Had to mix a bunch of garden soil since our...
Yea I still have the white stuff on the bottom of the leaves, which a pressure washing like you said would get rid of, but no more flies when I shake it.
I'm on the east coast of FL and I got some Chiles and a hab that have been producing for the past few months. I'm think of getting and planting some more around Nov or Dec.
I live in the space coast part of Florida and I just got done with dealing with this. I used natria neem oil. Oh these are most likely wooly aphids like what I had.
I bet if you throw a desiccant in whatever container it's in, it will help keep it longer, especially in places like Florida where there is high humidity.
I agree with hottoddy, extract sauces I think are garbage compared to the non ones. I find if I use a lot of the extract sauce I get a terrible extract after taste, which ruins it for me.

Hippy seed company has a lot of different varieties. They are based in Australia so it's closer and they do international shipping, think the price for India is cheap.

Great recipe. I make this all the time. For mine I use vidalia onions, and seranos since my family loves it but can't handle heat. Great recipe puts salsa in a jar to shame.
