I wrap aluminum foil around my Kratky quart mason jars. Its simple and keeps the light out. I always figured that it wasnt worth the risk of algae.

I grow mainly hot and super hot varieties. Ohio has a shorter growing season, so most are indoors in a large grow tent with LEDs. I prefer hydroponics, but use soil for some. Im hoping to share experiences, and pick up some good tips for improving my grows, and new varieties to try.
