Update... plants are doing great in the planters, one has a ton of pods and the other has none, same conditions. Both plants are huge.

  All the way. Composted leaves on the bottom, topsoil and Peat moss mix on top.

I got them for free, company was downsizing. You can get them online for about $500 each.

Are these planters big enough for Reaper plants?

I'm in the process now of hardening it off, very light sensitive, about 30 minutes max.

I over wintered a one season old Reaper plant in a 7 gallon pot without pruning. Midway through the winter the foliage was so heavy the branches could not hold it up without support. I an now in the process of reintroducing sunlight to the plant. Should I prune it down or just let it go?  Thanks

This is before the ferment. Opened it up and it had a nice ferment smell, and boy is it hot.

This was supposed to be a Reaper, looks more like a Ghost, any ideas?

Thanks all for the warm welcome!!  I plan on planting them in 5 gal buckets on my back porch, growing season is short so I might try some hydroponically.  Here they are at about 4 weeks.  

I'm also growing some Jwala Fingers that came free with my Reaper seeds from Pepper Joes.

New here but not new to hot peppers.  I started some Carolina Reapers February 16th in my new LED seedling starter box and they are doing great!!
