    Not a habanero ... ideas?

Definitely a shocker for me to see that ... super bummed, but hey ... life goes on I suppose! I'm blessed to have a friend nearby with 200 plants in the dirt, and my dad has nearly 100, so I should be able to snap up a few pods from them to satiate my addiction to the burn. There's always next...

    Peppadew?

Very cool! Thanks for sharing hogleg ... I should've known, I swear I've seen this video before on YT. I enjoy Bill's reviews. Can't wait to try these when they ripen up. Beautiful plant, fast growing, and my wife should be able to handle the heat, which is a bonus for me :)

    Not a habanero ... ideas?

Right on fellas ... I guess I was searching more for a speculatory guess on your behalf. Undeniably true that there are limitless possibilities as to what my "mystery plant" is! Of one thing I am almost certain though ... this is (likely) NOT a habanero.   I am glad for this ... up until a few...

    Peppadew?

I was given a plant labeled peppadew pepper. From what I understand that's a fairly uncommon strain, of which I know nothing. I have noticed that this particular plant has a unique flower, none of my other varieties look this way. The small pods that have set in are all pointed upward, much like...

    Not a habanero ... ideas?

I had this plant labeled as Habanero ... although it doesn't seem to have the typical pod characteristics of one. It almost looks Moruga-ish, lots of bumps and spikes. Most of the established pods seem to demonstrate this pheno ... so I'm guessing it's stable. Any thoughts or ideas? Thanks in...

    A (hopefully) simple question ...

Thank you guys! I will continue hardening for a few more days, probably transplant them this weekend. Typical potting soil mixed with some organic fertilizer going to be okay? I have a supply of rabbit droppings I plan to use, as I have heard it makes excellent fertilizer ... whether direct or...

    A (hopefully) simple question ...

Excellent! Thank you Juanito... given my region's short growing season, would it make sense to let them bloom, or should I snip them off? Do my plants look healthy from what you can see?

    A (hopefully) simple question ...

Hi all, this is my first year growing peppers, just looking for a little advice. I was curious if the round balls in my pictures are my plants' first buds? Pictured are King Naga and Bahamian Goat Peppers ... thanks in advance! King Naga Bahamian Goat Pepper The spread, from L-R ...

Can anyone ID these dried supers?

Hi all, new to posting here, but I've been lurking for a while. My dad gave me a baggie of dried goodies he grew last year, I know he grew bouts, which I believe I have in the first two pictures, but can anyone tell me what the third picture is? The pod is dark dark red, almost maroon bordering...
