    Sick Plants

Some people think the blackspot is too far advanced and I should destroy my plants with fire. Coper and Sulfur prodacts will stop the disease from spreading but most of my plants are already affected. I have about 25 plants, all different varieties and all have blackspot signs. Some more than...

    Sick Plants

I fed them chicken manure tea and Chempak's N, P and Ca. I could have over done it but my worry right now isn't over feeding, I will stop that for now, my worry is what it looks like a bacterial infection, or Black Spot and I will most likely have to destroy my plants if the treatment isn't...

    Sick Plants

Not under nourished for sure. I suspect it could be the opposite, that I over-fed with Calcium... I'm more worried about the black spots. That would be it for my season. :(

    Sick Plants

It breaks my heart to see them like this. Is there anything I can do to help them recover?

    Sick Plants

I think the reason could be that I kicked them out too early and they've been cold for too long and they might recover in time. Or they cought something fungal or viral and will die. I would like someone to help me identifying the problem and possible solution if any. Thanks.       Mainly...

They totally recovered after change of soil, fantastic.      New growth, healthy looking foliage, happy as Larry. :)

    Looks like a big problem

Few days after replacing compost and giving them light feed, they are recovering and showing new growth.      Just want to say thank you @evolka and others who contributed. :)

Multi purpose compost about 60%, 30% perlite and vermiculate and 10% coco coir.

    Looks like a big problem

Btw, most of my plants have no issues and seem healthy and growing. My worry is that this is something spreadable and if so, I'd cull these few to save others if not too late.     Some of my healthy chillies.

Don't think so. I only water when they almost completely dry out.

    Looks like a big problem

Here is that plant just now:     Another plant with similar issues is this Dorset Naga:     I just mixed some fresh compost with perlite, vermiculate and a bit of coco coir and cooked it 2 minutes in the microwave to kill any nasties if any before repotting.   Couple of others have developed...

    Looks like a big problem

Gotcha, thank you.   I'll check it over the weekend, I have a cheapo pH meter and book of litmus papers and should be able to broadly determine if too high or too low. I also happen to have spare compost, perlite and coco coir so I can mix a new batch.   I really appreciate you time to reply...

    Looks like a big problem

Thanks but I'm baffled by terminology here. What do you mean by 'broken pH' and what is substrate and how do I change it?   Most of my plants are doing well and they are all in the same medium, recently repotted.

    Looks like a big problem

I have water soluble N and it is in this chicken pellet feed tea as well, so that is covered.    This is my worst affected plant, the yellowing leaves have fell off and now I'm waiting to see if it will improve or get worse:     Only two or three plants are affected, the rest are happy and...

    Looks like a big problem

There is enough of multi-purpose compost mixed with coir and perlite in those pots, I don't think that is the case. I'm more inclined to think it's environmental issue, such as (too much) heat, (insufficient) light, overcrowding and not too good ventilation overall. It is what it is and...
  16. Honey Badger

    Looks like a big problem

I'm using compost 50-60%, coco coir 30% and rest is perlite. I fed them with some diluted chicken pellet manure and Chempak N. I don't want to over do it and don't mind them being deficient, much better than having to deal with nutes lock or bacterial or viral problems.    In few weeks time...

    Looks like a big problem

Several of my little chilli plants have leaf browning and some are falling off. Please see images:         I just hope it isn't virus or bacteria as that would probably decimate all of them but I could live with this being lack of nutes. I just gave them a weak feed and epsom spray.   Does...

health anyone able to shed any light on what could be going wrong

Definitely not a pepper plant. You should probably get rid of it because it may not be benign, some plants are poisonous to people or pets.    On the other hand, at least you stoped putting your efforts into something that is not what is supposed to be and you have just enough time to start...

It must be hard to accept it. I'm sorry.   The best you can do is to start few more seeds before is too late or get a plug plant.      Just to make sure, could you please post couple more close pictures of your plant?

It could be a stray seed in your grow medium? Seriously, most likely you've been nurturing some random weed - it happens.    This is my Yellow Scorpion plant:
