    heat Supposed new hottest pepper.....

That was my thought also. I don't usually buy in to all the hype of who's the hottest but seeing as I'd never heard of the Armageddon, I thought it was worth posting.

I haven't been on here in a few months, life happens ya know. I thought you all might like to see my 55 gallon kratky rocoto experiment. This is a Melon rocoto from pepperlovers. You can see some of the wrinkled leaves left from a vicious aphid battle but it seems to have recovered nicely.

So...... after reading all the recent posts and the astronomical price, I think I'm going to pass on buying a plant from him.

I live smack dab in the middle of the city and I don't have a lot of space. My wife and I have gotten really good at finding ways to squeeze garden space into every nook and cranny of our place without taking away yard space for my kids to play. My backyard is south facing, I've got a detached...

I've never ordered a live plant before so forgive my ignorance but 30 bucks seems kinda steep for one live pepper plant. Nice to know it's available though.

I've got a raised bed in the southwest corner of my yard. It will get morning sun from the East and a little afternoon sun. I have a Horse Chestnut tree that will shade it from noon on through the day and my fence will partially shade it in the evening. Hopefully that will suit the plants just...

Ya know, I think I've got the perfect spot. I've got a couple plants so I'll try a few different places around the yard. I really appreciate the help. We don't have many bumble bees around but I do get a lot of honey bees so I would think that they would do just as good pollinating.

That's great news, I appreciate it. Seeing as I've never grown pubes I have no knowledge of how long they take to mature and set pods. Knowing that I live in Spokane and it's fairly hot and dry climate, what's your recommendation as far as sun exposure? I can put the plants in different...

I wouldn't really be growing it for the pods anyway, I just think it's a cool looking plant. If you do happen to have spare seeds later in the year, let me know. I can pay you or send you seeds or pods in payment.

It took forever and a day but the mini reds and the miraflores seeds sent to me by ShowMeDaSauce finally sprouted. Not much to look at right now but I'll post pictures once the are a bit bigger. I really hope it's not to late into year getting them started.

That's a crazy plant! I would love to grow one some day just for it's looks. Does anybody have seeds for sale or trade? Also, I can't help but wonder what the pods taste like...

    Unknown Asian Market Pepper

Thanks for the help! I've heard of them but I've never tried them. I asked her to pick out some peppers for me, so I can make salsa. I've used up my meager harvest from last year so I needed store bought peppers. She got me some orange Habs and these Fresno's. Let's see how well the work in a salsa!

    Unknown Asian Market Pepper

Anybody have any idea what these are? My wife picked them up from the local Asian market. They were not labeled at all but the lady at the market said they were hot and sweet. I have yet to try them though.
