  Greetings from just down the road. Could you have a local landscape company drop a few cubic yards of potting soil off? That could be cheaper than bagged mix.   I've had good luck with the 2 cu/ft bags from Wilco.

  I've heard from some producers in the PNW that there is more money in drying than growing. If you get a good setup going, it could be another source of income.
