Arkansas Bentonville. 

A couple who work next to my wifes office grow peppers. They brought over some produce that was extra. They told her these were very hot. I cut the tips as you can see off of two of them. They are not hot at all. In fact they are more like a red bell pepper then a hot pepper. Any help appreciated.

I am not into hot peppers. I like a bit of heat but not crazy like some. But I do want to learn how to identify some common peppers.
