    Mildfruit 2023

Really nice looking plants and pods :) Last year I also had some issues with BER. In my specific case it was just the variety Nocturne. I think the problem was related to an insufficient or irregular water supply. We had really high temperatures last year and those plants have been growing...

    Wild Boar Garden´s hot Glog 2023 ✌️

Yes definitely! I am lacking a little bit behind with making enough pictures this season. But always nice to have the chance to go back in time and have a look how some plants performed in the past :)

Yes feels really good! Now it is time to switch into the "observation mode". Sometimes it is hard to tell if the plants are growing if you inspect your plants daily several times 😁

    Wild Boar Garden´s hot Glog 2023 ✌️

Thank you very much @OCD Chilehead! ✌️ Every year I know what I am getting into with this amount of plants, but I just can´t resist :D When the last frost is over I feel like ALL the plants need to be in their final destination by then. But it takes usually at least one week, more realistic...

    Wild Boar Garden´s hot Glog 2023 ✌️

Hi there! Most of my peppers made it finally into their end pots for this season. But before I had to work on the soil mix. First of all I emptied all the old pots and sieved the soil. Next step was rinsing the pots with water. And then mixing the soil. Its a mixture of old soil, some...

Hi all! Long time no update from my side. The days have been really busy, but slowly we are getting started in the garden! :woohoo: About a week ago it was getting really crowded indoors. Not only in the the basement, but also at the two south facing windows. It feels like I have more plants...

Hi everybody! today a little update on the chilis :) It is getting really crowded in the basement as the plants are getting some good size. Most of them are in 13x13 cm / 5x5 inch pots now. The C. pubescens won the race with producing the first flowers! 😍 Some nice flowers on the...

    Wild, Indeed, Community Thread

I just picked this link up here a few weeks ago and found it really helpful for the different capsicum varieties. I found it really interesting to see where they come from geologically. Maybe there are some information you are interested in :)

    Growing some tasty stuff

I see you have al kind of possibilities. Doesn´t make the decision easier! 😬 A polytunnel would be really nice to have, maybe next year :) I will step back a little bit this year and mostly concentrate on peppers and tomatoes. Not enough time this year 🤷‍♂️ But garden planing usually needs more...

    Wild Boar Garden´s hot Glog 2023 ✌️

There are ten days in between the two pictures, so it took roughly two weeks for the maturing. Yes exactly, the window is facing south. And it was also in the living room, so quite warm :) To be honest the taste is not as good compared to fruit which ripened in the sun and on the plant. But...
