    misc straining pepper sauce?

    What is the best kind if filter or screen to use to filter the pulp after I’ve blended and pushed it thru a colander? The sauce is ok but it still had bits of seed and skin that were small enough to go thru the colander. :D

    :? In the past few days I’ve been making sauce from habanero peppers. But the mash seems to have lost much of its heat. Sometimes I think it might just be that I’ve lost some of the sensation from my tongue? My wife won’t try any (she’s afraid). I heat them in vinegar until they’re tender...

    :D Hello, I hope to learn as much as possible from you guys. I've been growing peppers to eat for many years, but in the last 2 years I've been growing them to make sauce. I'm now a full fledged pepper head. hope to be talking with many of you. Dave
