    Geist 2014 indoor/outdoor balcony glog

And so it begins. Thanks to my namesake brother for seeds for my 2014 season. I'm starting the season early with just one of the varieties he gave me to get me through this cold winter.   It's a Trinidad Scorpion Moruga Blend x Bhut Jolokia F2   4 seeds were placed in a wet papertowel in a...

    Roots not forming... strange

Something is strange is happening with my fatalii germinations. I put 5 seeds in a damp paper towel and 3 germinated. The three that germinated didn't really develop any roots. Just nubs... I've attached a picture. These two I left on the towel and I planted one to see if roots would take in...

    Companion planting clover with peppers

Has anyone done any experimenting with companion planting? Perhaps a nitrogen fixing plant such as clover would improve soil for better vegetative growth. Obviously, you could just use ferts or compost but I was just thinking about this as a different way to help create better soils.

    Is this a healthy pepper?

Just wondering if this looks like a healthy pepper plant? It's a thai pepper and it looks a little droopy compared with some of the other pictures I've seen. I'm growing it indoors as I live in an apartment.

    fusing stems?

I was reading about bonchis again and saw the part about fusing stems together. Has anyone here ever fused multiple plants into one plant? It seems like a great idea to get a gnarly looking trunk on your plant.

    soil Cactus Soil

I'm fairly new to pepper growing and was wondering if using "Miracle-Gro Cactus, Palm and Citrus Soil" would be good enough for pepper plants? I'm growing Thai peppers, Bells, and Cubanelles (also a cherry tomato plant) in my apartment window if that makes a difference. Thanks.

How old can a pepper plant get?

How old can a pepper plant get? How long have you been able to keep the same plant? This question occurred to be after reading the fatali bonchi guide. Is there an age limit before they eventually just die off or could you really keep a pepper plant alive for decades or something crazy?

    New pepper grower

Hey all, I'm a fairly new pepper grower. I did a small crop of jalapenos last year and I'm hoping to do a lot better this year. I have thai pepper seeds germinating right now and I hope to learn a lot from you guys on this forum.
