As far as I know kumquats won't grow true to seed. You will have to graft them (just like most of the citruses).

I don't have problems with the red ones. I bought my first seeds directly from Ed in 2012 and this year all my plants produced the same shapes. Maybe I am just lucky. :) I've ordered yellow/chocolate variants from 2 sources, will find out if they are really Reapers in summer (I don't expect much).

I asked her (or whoever operates the site atm) in november when will she have some varieties available again, the answer was "This winter we will". Almost two months passed and the site is still the same. Hope it will be updated soon. :)
