Ok, edema. We may have been over watering in the beginning, so this is likely it. I've seen aphids before, and it looks and feels nothing like that.   Will new growth also look like these? I was mostly paying attention to the big bottom leaves, the oldest growth.

And I'm tired of playing frost warning chicken so I picked everything over the weekend and brought the pots indoors to figure out what I am doing with those.   I made more pickles with most non-super hots and will probably dry the super hots.   Shame most pods didn't make it to ripe :(        

On another note, my Peter Pepper plant (can't remember if there's just one or two) got really big, but no flowers, and no pods, nada, nothing. It's out in the garden with the others, and it's the only one to show this behavior. I've had plants before give minimal pods, but those were small.

Took a picture after my weekly watering. Most have their set of true leaves or slightly further along. I know some people don't like using the clear cups, but I've never had any issues and I like that I can see how the roots are coming along.
