Not much to report, all are growing well. The white hab is getting huge. I gave away a few plants to family and friends as I was running out of room.

My first time growing too, mine are a lot smaller than yours. Almost spring here so plenty of growing time to come.   You can save seeds from this years crop and grow them next year. Just make sure you isolate the flowers of the chilli you want to save else it may cross pollinate. Could find...

Yea, waiting for them to ripen has by far been the most impatient part of the whole process lol! I thought waiting for them to germinate was bad enough. Lol

Thanks, they have grown quite a bit since the last photo so i went home last night and transplanted them all into their own cups. 12 hours later when i left for work and they are all looking strong and healthy, none have drooped over or have wilted leaves.   I gave them a good water the night...

Here is a photo of all of the plants, most of them are coming along nicely now that they have the light. Only a couple that haven't started to develop their first true leaves.  

Thanks for the show of support. I'll let it live then. It actually has it's second leaves coming through.   Lights are on and pretty close to the propogator. I have rotated the plants as the ones closest to the light have been growing the most, unsurprisingly.   Will post updated photos soon...

Not sure if it's the lights or not but after 2 days I had a second set of leaves appearing on a White Habanero seedling. Took this on Saturday, it's a bit bigger now :)

The lights seem to be helping (only a few days but i'm gonna contribute this to the lights) My first set of second leaves,  :dance:   Is it normal for a seed to germinate with 3 initial leaves? Is it some kind of mutant plant that i should rip out of the ground or is it a common occurance?

Who's your target audience? If it's people that eat hot chilies I'd guess that they would generally be open to trying new sauces. How is Durian going to smell once it's mixed with the other ingredients, I'm tipping your sauce, whilst delicious, may be a bit on the nose ;)

I received some advice in the Australian growing thread so tonight I moved the plants underneath a lamp to encourage some growth.

I did some searching online and found that energy saving globes are fluorescent. TIL. So i grabbed an spare lamp and put it above the plants as such:   Hopefully it will help them along a bit.   Thanks again for your help guys. Hopefully i will have more to add to this thread as they grow up...

Is sitting next to a large window with only a few hours direct light enough?

I'm growing a few plants but can't seem to get them past the first set of leaves. Guess this is due to lack of light. I am germinating them in a heated propagator and then keeping them in there. Don't come to Australia then  :stop:    Hard to tell if the pool is fully enclosed but if you have a breeze near the plants that could pollinate them too.
