Well I just picked and indulged in my first ripe pod for the season. These little guys pack quite bit of heat for alittle pepper. Any recommendations for other hot ornamentals?

It's only mid spring and some of my plants (orange habs) are only about 20cm high and are starting to flower already. Should I just let them go or should I nip the flowers off?

I spoke to an old guy that grows roses and he reckons hanging banana skins off the branches keeps the aphids away. I've started to get a few aphids on my plants so I'll be hanging banana skins in the morning. Has anyobe tried this before? chibi
