I remember last year when I started growing hot peppers, the people on gardenweb were so helpful. Since gardenweb sold out to some foreign power called Houzz, I would just like to shout out to those that responded to me as Valdo, perhaps we may find ourselves here?

I have a blooming chocolate scotch bonnet, doing well, minimal eating on the leaves. But there are black ants everywhere and I fear they may be harvesting aphids. I tried some neem oil, works for a while but nothing permanent. Should I be worried?  

Planted a whole mess of seeds that I thought were true scotch bonnets, turned out to be Jamaican Squash Peppers. 7 squash pepper to 1-2 scotch bonnets!    Kind of bummed about that, could use some pepper therapy. 

Really bad pepper book-keeping have forced me to consult these forums. I looked about the internet and photos say these are scotch bonnets; others say they are fresnos. But they look to short to be Fresnos. My Jamaican girlfriend took one look at the orange one (hope it turns red) and pronounced...
