plant-care Almost gave up on my overwintered bhut

That thing was sure a bugger! It is finally getting new leaf tufts. Overwintering here is harder than I thought it would be. Aphids were bad and hardening off was awful.
Yes I can post a pic soon. It is just about to go out with the rest of the pots. It was in sick bay for weeks.

LOL I suppose many people will first read that as overwintered butt. That is awful too! :P

Here is my bhut. I am amazed it looks this good. It was only 'mostly dead'. LOL
 
Hang in there. It still has some fight in it. Yeah, aphids love to munch on new growth. Strangely, I can't wait until it's my chance to overwinter. My mom said her friend had chili plants that had never been brought inside during the colder months and are doing fine year after year. I hate to say that I don't believe her, but our winters are kind of a joke (L.A.) and I might just maybe leave it outside during the colder months to see if it works. Good luck!
