issue Calix problem

Good morning to everyone!! I am growing some Jalapenos, and have this issue in some of them: the calyx is like missing some of its green part, and a white part is exposed. I do not know if its some disease, some malformation or if it has been eaten by some insect.
Thanks to everyone in advance
Cheers from Agentina!

Solution
As you both said, the problem was small SNAILS eating the calix. A couple of night trips to the garden and problem solved.
Thanks very much!!
I might be wrong but it looks like something partially chewed the calyx.

What Bou said. I would also say some garden pest. Look for catterpillars, if you have moths or butterflys that first stage has to eat something.
Many times the fruit will be uneffected.
Thank you very much to both of you! I will check for any kind of worm or slug around. I suspected this, but I was not sure. I am just beginning with this art of growing peppers!
Kind regards
