Thats half of one!

No soup.

Garlic, butter, white wine, red savina or 7 pot. Or any heat.
Poach crab just to get it warm, wrap yourself in napkins and dip in above dipping and feast!
SOON!

J got crabs!

If with beans I would consider navy, but never consider crab for chili. Maybe a seafood chili done similar to chapino(sp)

Don't reckon soup would work?

No. Do as SD says. Otherwise make a New England style clam chowder but sub the crab. Another alternative is to shell it, leaving the big pieces intact, deep fry, and make a po' boy. First choice though, go with SD's suggestion. That shit is just too good to mess around with too much.

Nova, HabbyHeat missed the different spelling of chilli and thought you wanted to make a "soup with beans".

If you haven't already eaten the crab... then +10 to Scovie's suggestion of warming it and eating with seasoned butter or +10 to TB's suggestion to make a creamy crab chowder. With your choice of chillis, of course!

Toss it in a wok with some light veges, lemon drop powder, and garlic butter. Toss until warmed. Add some pasta and toss until mixed.

You can also mix with some cream cheese and stuff your favorite hot pepper and cook the peppers how you like.

BEANS!? I don't do beans!!

Crab found its way into my belly with the aid of a little vinegar, himalayan pink rock salt and bhut powder. Twas goot and i is full.

Edit: i wrote crap instead of crab :D

The best way to have crab is to keep it cold, crack it with your teeth, and dip it in hot garlic butter with your favorite pepper minced in. My two cents.

Don't forget the lemon juice.

Correct-o, You're absolutely right WFF,

The crab is already cooked, I think some people missed that one. At the resturant Wednesday's we sold all you can eat "Snow Crab " legs. We had a separate steam center/cabinet that we'd use for the "legs". .
Just warm them and add garlic infused drawn (clarified) butter.
We also used the steamer solely for our Italian sausage and peppers, once the rope were browned.

Now stone or soft shell are a horse of a different color, Here in Chicago we should be getting the soft shell towards the end of Feb. Lightly flowered and pan fried is the best.....man now I've got the taste for "Zuppa di Pesce", I'm a big shell fish fan............done to the fish market, Friday
