hydroponics Distance between Peppers In Hydroponics

I am going to have an Ebb & Flow system for hydroponics, with a 16 square foot grow bed (4x4). How many plants can I expect to have in there and in what spacing?

That's a very broad question. I started 3 in my shed. Now I need a bigger shed.

If you are careful and prune the plants, they can be on 12" centers

Just as a clarification, it would be a 4x4 tray, growing a variety of peppers such as fatalii and lemon drop aji.

Hey Kev, I did the same, started off with about 14 plants in Rockwell cubes and expanded clay, then just
Up rooted or cut out the slow plants.
Ended up with seven but I prune now and then coz mine are out doors and need sunlight.
