99.99% of the extracts out there are the industrial extracts, which are extracted using ketones. When the ketones are removed (acetone is not good for you), there are minute traces of the stuff left in the final product, which is why it leaves a metallic, bitter flavor on the backside. Not a big fan of them. Considering the price differential between Habaneros and Bhuts, is MUCH more cost effective using Habaneros for extraction.
