Overwintered Jam Hot Chocolate

40 in the ground with 20 yet to go! Overwintered plants: White Bullet,Yellow 7's,Chocolate Bhuts,Giant Bhuts, and a Naga...are all podding up;)!

Lookin great brotha! I been on a schedule kinda like yours...so I have a ton of respect for what you got goin on. How's that Black Rose succulent I sent doing? Did it survive?

It sure did Shane(survive)-if I can keep someone from watering it to death; and same back at you!I wanted to let it get a little bigger before posting an "evidence of life " pic-about 6" tall with a good little rosette growing out.I've got some sauce with your name on it when I get back to the house-gotta order some 5 oz woozies -I'm still using canning jars- which suck to ship in- they like to break too easy because of the vaccum. On tonights menu we have a Spicy Mustard Hab, and Purty little red Scorpion...will try to post a harvest pic of some pods picked before jumping back on the ship for another round of fun and games in the deep dark wet.

Just a few pod pics....
Part of the first harvest...brought to the ship for sustinence!

The BJR X Giant White went down for breakfast(my lunch)...nice punch, wicked throat burn...inside coated with orange oil, mean little fu$$er!
Have a good one-
Dave

You are a mad man Dave. And your pods are looking splendid

Now get back to making some of that killer sauce. I am getting low :drooling:

What are the red ones in the upper right corner? They look like my not-Fataliis. I guess I could've snagged some red Fataliis, though.

Jamie-I have lots of sauce still, and am working few new ones (I was canning some the day I went to work this trip!)Mad? HaHa-its much worse than that!!;)

The red ones on the upper right are Purple Bhuts, which turn red when ripe-but they do resemble some Red Fatalli's...but when you want yellow ones, YOU WANT YELLOW ONES!

That harvest of pods should provide more than sustenance, my friend!
You are producing some outrageous fruit, bro; it's fun to look at your
pod porn and dream. Of my own pods, I mean : )

Good on ya for managing to stay in tune with the chiles whilst doing
your duty. A man of many talents, for sure! Come back safe from
the deep dark, gunner.

Hmmmm....nice pods and all, but that little froggie in the first pick is AWESOME! :shh:

That bowl of bullets looks really nice! Mine is finally starting to set some fruit! Had to yank the other one though... :mope:

Stay safe out there buddy,
Shane

Awesome harvest man! That Choco Devils tongue looks wicked! Be careful with all that heat out on a ship! could get dangerous....

Yeah, that one suprised me(DTB)....thicker skin than the Bhuts, the whole inside was that evil rusty color of c-oil...or maybe it was just that it was such a big one...whew.

Looks like you are having no problems in the harvesting dept Dave. That BT X looks pretty gnarly and it is pretty cool how the BJ X Giant Hab took the Hab shape and Bhut color. What gen is it?

Matt-
You would the one question I don't know the answer to.... hehe...I will find out- I really like that one , so good prompt.

If only I would've known that you knew I didn't know, I would've known to know it before you asked and you wouldn't know I didn't know what you knew I didn't when you asked.

Butt seriously....I am wondereing if the new blossoms(which it is covered with  ) will turn out the same way- this one did the "one pod" thing and then went on about 2-3 weeks later with the real flowering. I definitely believe that leaving a single pod on a young plant slows growth-and that seemed to be the case here. The pod was unique enough though, that I had to leave it.

Looking great Dave
How long do I have to get to those plants while you are safely underwater?

I remember this awesome thread of underwater pics..... any new ones????
