Hello,
I joined this forum because I grew a 1.5 Mill. Scoville 'Naga Jolokia' from a local farmer's market.
From looking around here, I determined I am growing a pc-1.
Still a respectible heat, but I was looking for one pepper per dish kind of heat.

I plan on ordering from the Chilepepperinstitute. Anyone have any comments on their BHUT JOLOKIA seeds?

PC-1 has no real heat. sorry...

You can find many other sources for the Bhut Jolokia, Bih Jolokia and Naga Morich, but NMSU should be ok.
My comments? it's hot. REALLY HOT!

The pc-1 has been tested only as high as 81984 SHU and doesn't have much flavor.
Nagas, Bhuts, Scorpions etc. have been properly tested around 1 million SHU.

Some sources' PC-1 only gets a 6,000SHU-8,000SHU.
