How much cap. extract to add to sauce?

Hey guys,
I bought some capsicum extract from a lady on here ( can't remember her vendor name ) and I wanted to just make a hot heat sauce . Not chasing flavor here. So how much should I add? I think she said it was medical grade stuff, it was expensive and well over 5 mil shu.

Those were my thoughts exactly RTF.

To the OP, you have two choices:
A. Dump the whole thing in to make it stupidly hot
B. Dump a calculated pct in to make it less than stupidly hot.

Just make your sauce to the flavor you want, then start adding the capsaicin drops a few at a time until it gets as hot as you want. And if it's the stuff purchased from me, it's called capsaicin drops because it's not an extract. The stuff in the dropper bottle will last a looooong time, there's +300 drops in the bottle. Start with 10 drops in a cup of sauce (that's quite a bit!) and go up from there. Things with natural sugars (carrots, fruits, etc) may tend to decrease the percieved heat level of the drops because sugar is one of the things that counteracts capsaicin heat. So you may need more drops in sauces that contain those types of ingredients. Good Luck~

tried to send you a pm, looks like your box is full~~
